Document Source Extension

A Document Source Extension (DSE) is a module that ccBuild uses to read source documents to be stored in content collections. A DSE sits between ccBuild and a system where documents are stored such as a file system, a document management system or an Internet site. The DSE is responsible for reading source documents from wherever they are stored and delivering their data to ccBuild. Optionally, the DSE can preprocess documents.
